A Joyful Chorus is a choir that enriches the lives of its members and audiences

by creating music that brings emotional, mental and spiritual joy.

With harmonious voices and through the power of music, the choir spreads love,

goodwill and social harmony while testifying of our Savior Jesus Christ.

 This choir has an inclusive and welcoming environment for singers who have a love of music, and of Christ.  It will uplift, inspire and encourage personal growth. 

Dedicated to spreading love, kindness and compassion through the power of music,

while enriching the loves of it's members and audiences alike

by creating a joyful and harmonious experience

for all who join this musical journey.

• In order to achieve our mission, members of A Joyful Chorus agree to abide by the following:
•   1. Have a love of their Savior Jesus Christ and strive to live by the principles He taught.
•   2. Have a love of music and a desire to sing.
•   3. Be able to read music and to sing on key.
•   4. Be over the age of 18. 
•       Young persons 16 or 17 that demonstrate a high level of maturity and musicianship may join if they are accompanied by a parent.
•   5. Be committed to weekly rehearsals, including being on time, if not early, and singing at performances.
•   6. Be respectful of all choir members.
•       Show appreciation for those who volunteer to serve in all capacities including:  
•       Directors, pianists and those who keep the choir organized and on schedule.  
•       Everyone is respected in this choir.
•   7. As a choir, we are committed to continuous improvement by constantly refining our vocal skills and musicianship. 
•      This will require studying your music at home, so when we are practicing we are refining the music, not learning the notes.
•   8. A $50 choral music fee will be charged in preparation for each performance.
•   9. Have a positive attitude and a sense of great expectation!
